This race is a flat, fast, paved course along Calgary's beautiful Bow River Pathway. Racers choose between a 5 mile or 10 mile course.
It was founded in 1974 by friends of Robert Hamilton, who later founded the Calgary Roadrunners Club (CRR). The race is sanctioned by Athletics Alberta.
The legacy of Robert H. and how his friends have remembered him lives on in this event. Everyone is encouraged to enter, volunteer, cheer, and bring a friend.
Calgary Roadrunners and Students are encouraged to register at a discount of $5 off by entering a discount code of either "CRRmember" or "Student" into the field below the registration price.
On-line registration will close at the end of Thursday, August 21, 2008. If you do not receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite, your transaction has not been completed. Please contact the race director for assistance.
Mail-in or drop-off registration forms (payable by cheque) will be made available shortly.
Race package pick-up and in-person registration at
Gord's Running Store, 919 Centre Street North, Calgary,
3:00pm - 6:00pm Friday, August 22 or
10:00am - 2:00pm, Saturday, August 23
No race-day registrations will be accepted, but pre-registrants may also pick up packages 6:30am - 7:30am on race day.
